With a background in design and engineering and over a decade working in conservation and development, our experience informs the values we bring to the studio. Our furniture and accessories have sustainable materials and processes at their heart.
Our furniture is constructed entirely from locally sourced, recycled timber. We go to great lengths to ensure the wood we use is highly stable and looks brand new.
Every element of production incorporates sustainability: We hand-make furniture in a studio powered by 100% renewable electricity, recycle all waste (including sawdust), and offset any carbon emitted during delivery.
Our designs are simple, essential and enduring. Combined with traditional joinery and innovative manufacturing, Baldwin Studios creates furniture that will last a lifetime, both physically and aesthetically.
